Yes, that was a direct statement from me, Guitar player and general head of band of Captain Coconut. For now we'd love to support band uploads of shows. Maybe down the line we can add fan additions but if possible for now we'd like to be in control of what is on the site and what is not (in case of a live CD release). We love the Archives, we love what you are doing, far and away the best site on the web.

Dan added re supplemental lossy copies:
I have found that often lossy copies of shows are a lot less hassle. It's easier and quicker and smaller and also allows regular fans (as opposed to tape traders) to listen to the shows. It would be great if you guys could put the shows up in lossy formats. Other than that, I am very excited about being on the site and will upload today. You've been extremely helpful and everyone in the band is grateful.
